Thank you everyone who has commented so far. I understand the taking a breath thing, and I will work on it. However I'm still not convinced that the question I was getting to was completely answered.
[qt]There’s nothing that will calm the nerves, lower the blood pressure, of keep one’s lunch down as well as experience. The more you throw in games and the more different experiences you have in those games, the more you’ll be prepared when something new or pressure-filled jumps up.[/qt]
To me this sounds like something to do when a game gets close and the nerves kick in. That's not quite what I was asking. I was more saying, during the delivery phase, during ANY game, even up by 20 runs.
Maybe the terminology that I was using was a little off, instead of saying tense, and needing to relax, I will say that during my delivery I think that I flex too much if this makes sense? I have read that you want to stay loose and not flex, however I have a tendency to try too hard and get tight because I am TRYING to get my velocity back up.
I know it is extremely tough to be explosive and not want to flex during delivery. If anyone has any tips on how to avoid FLEXING while in my delivery they would be greatly appreciated. And the caps and such are not disrespect, I know that can sometimes be skewed on the internet, they are more for emphasis and such I appreciate all of the input.
