You are wrong if you are stating your generalization as an absolute.

You keep saying that a two-seam and sinker are two different pitches. How can this be an absolute when two of the best sinkerballers (Fausto Carmona, Chien Ming-Wang) just use a plain, ordinary two-seam grip?
Maybe I'm way out in left field with this, because I truthfuly don't know. But from what I've seen and done personally, if you keep your fingers on top of the ball, it's a sinker, if you don't stay on top of the ball, in a 3/4arm slot it's more likely to be a 2seamer. If I throw overhand it's a sinker, if it's 3/4 its a 2Seamer for me. Thats why I'm throwing sinkers

Personally, I think you need to stop posting. Any baseball person knows that pain in the elbow is NOT good. In an earlier post a person said they had pain in the elbow and asked if this was bad. You said pain in the elbow is good. Have you ever played baseball before or are you just completely insane? Also, and 2-seam and a sinker are different pitches. People just get them to work different ways. I know I throw them both the same with completely different grips. Also, I do not throw a 4 seam fastball because my 2-seam fastball is harder. My 4-seam sits 83-84 whereas my 2-seam sits 87-90. People are different. Your generalizations are based on what works for you not what works for most or all.
